Current Projects
Refuge Home:
We need to build a new house. We have only the original farmhouse to provide shelter to those in need. We have patched it up and it's cozy enough, but we can serve a very limited number of hurting people. We are seeking donations toward building a new lodge with more bedrooms and a larger kitchen and living area.
Camping Cabins:
The campers need new cabins with new bunks and bathrooms. We would like to build two new "duplex" cabins that can house 20 campers each.
Animals:
In the spring, we're buying a milk cow / calf pair and sheep for children and adults alike to enjoy. These animals not only provide food and warmth, but we can teach butter and ice cream and cheese making skills. We can teach wool carding and spinning, crochet and weaving - interesting and useful skills that are lost to many in our modern world.
